Abschiedsgefühle

Now that I only have a couple hours left until I have to leave my beautiful home I realize how much I will miss everything. From seeing my little siblings play, to joking around with my friends in school or church on Sundays...

Isn't it weird that I am leaving my family and friends to come home to my friends and family?

Anyways, I think I will have fun in DC and try to upload some more stuff before I am officially back... :)

Oh and something to make you laugh:

How naive was I one year ago to believe that I could fit my entire life in one suitcase??



Here you see a transformation from one big suitcase that wasn't even that full to 2 packed suitcases that are way too close to the 23kg mark ;D

Washington DC

On Wednesday I will leave Mount Pleasant and fly back to DC. So I thought before I will write another cheesy post about feelings and my experiences I will first update you with my program in DC. :D

So here you go:

I honestly think that CIEE does not want us to get any sleep those next couple days but whatever ;D 

I will have fun and I am excited to go back to a city as beautiful as DC :)

So be prepared for a couple cheesy posts before I am on my way back to good old Germany on Friday night. 

(My friends, that is the code for "I hope to see you at the airport on Saturday morning"... ;D Not to threaten anybody, just saying ;D)

Graduation

On Sunday, June 5th I officially graduated High School. At noon we all met in the High School in our traditional cap and gown (like in all those cool movies :D) and at 1:30pm the ceremony started. It was a really nice ceremony and hey, I didn't fall and my name didn't sound too weird ;D

It was an amazing year at MPHS and I made a lot of friends and unforgettable memories. <3

I am an official High School Graduate and will be home in a couple days.

4/4: Prom 2k16

Well, under the motto "Under the Sea" I had a magical night and a blast with my friends!! The DJ played awesome music, we had a photo booth and danced until our feet felt like they were falling off :D
Overall I enjoyed it way more than HoCo but that's just me...

3/4: Memphis, Tennessee

Three weeks ago my family and I visited Memphis, Tennessee, the town were Elvis lived and Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. 
So we left Michigan on Thursday morning and stopped at a Hotel somewhere in Illinois. The next day we arrived in Memphis at around 5 o'clock and went to a graduation from a friend... - my hostfamily lived in Memphis for 6 years 

The next day we went to another graduation and to an open house - a graduation party. Sunday we had time to do some sightseeing and had another senior photo shoot:

And we are back in that beautiful state
